Hey guys, so last two videos we did were on the interaction styles. We went over the direct initiating control types, also known as the structure types and the in-charge types. So what does that mean? While the see it through types are basically the complete opposite. I love chart the course types, I find them fantastic. And most times they approach projects like processes that they need to learn, implementation, by-laws within a firm, et cetera. So they immediately finish that entire process and they go to their wood shop and they are completely consumed by this project.
This connection should be something that will last for a long time whether years of friendship, business partnership, or love. There may be some reasons that the two will have a falling out, but to be honest — the two intrinsically understand each other and balance each other out. For every Myers Briggs personality, there’s a counterpart that makes an almost perfect fit.
The INTJ is the patient visionary clear on how the future should look and will work with quiet, logical determination to make it happen. The INTJ loves an intellectual challenge and is stimulated by the abstract, the complex, the new and the untried; facts and figures bore them.
As it turns out, Idealists pair best with other idealists. As fellow idealists, the INFJ and ENFP are on the same wavelength in terms of their fondness for new possibilities and their soulful quest for fulfillment and meaning in almost all aspects of their lives. They share similar qualities but also a number of distinct differences. These two types have great chemistry and can potentially form a long lasting and satisfying relationship.
The INFJ for their part, loves spending time with their beloved, performing thoughtful gestures, and lavishing them with attention and affection. ENFPs can be chatty but they are not glib and have the capacity to enthrall their INFJ partner with surprisingly deep and poignant observations about life. It is not always easy for INFJs to articulate with words what they think or feel and so they appreciate that ENFPs are able to express themselves so openly and un-self-consciously.
Although INFJs are warm and friendly with almost everyone, there is a significant portion of themselves that is withheld and they desperately hold out for the special someone s with whom they can share it with.
As someone who has consistently tested as INFJ since the age of eighteen and has interacted with more than a few INFJs in the mental health advocate community, I wanted to share some insights about this interesting personality type and how they work. In an INFJ, these traits tend to be embodied in more extreme ways: They are complex but they have integrity. Developing a friendship or relationship with an INFJ is like slowly peeling away an onion.
MYERS-BRIGGS PERSONALITY TYPE AND BEST FIT RELATIONSHIPS Here are some brief descriptions of the 16 types, along with the best fit, possible fit and least likely fit for a relationship based on personality type. Are there any two words so paradoxical when printed together? It is not, however, impossible. Just hard to understand from the non-INTJ perspective. Your standard human being will use two of three primary qualifiers when first seeking a romantic partner- physical attraction, emotional connection, and common interests. The INTJ, however, uses a more scientific approach. This first step can be taken to an unhealthy extreme, and when the list mental or otherwise becomes too specific, this will end in disappointment.
Second, the INTJ will observe people in or connected to their social circle if they have one to see if any of the people already connected to them match their criteria for an ideal partner. If none of the people already connected with INTJ match their minimum standards, the INTJ may choose to revise their original list of desirable attributes. More likely, they will wait for the right person to enter their circle of influence.
It is important to note that INTJs value freedom and solitude, and will only start a relationship if they think that being in that relationship will be more satisfying than their alone time. This is an expression of respect, refraining from correcting or sharing opinions until after the partner has finished talking.

In order to better understand how INTJs approach dating and romantic relationships, it is necessary to consider the potential impact and implications of their four primary personality functions Ni, Te, Fi, Se. Of course, INTJs would be the first to tell you that how we define lazy is entirely relative. As INTJs intuitively form impressions about the world, they naturally want to express them via their auxiliary Te. And because INTJs often prefer expressing themselves orally rather than in writing, they seek out others interested in hearing their knowledge and insights they resemble INFJs in this respect.
In fact, one of the primary reasons INTJs seek relationships is to have someone to share ideas with.
The N stands for Intuition. It means that she draws from stored unconscious knowledge accrued through the years from books, movies, other people, experience, and reflection. Generally, the INTJ has top-notch information stored. The T stands for thinker as opposed to feeler , and this means that decisions are based on a process of deduction and analysis rather than what she feels. Bear in mind that feeling is related to emotions and is not the same as intuition. The J stands for Judgement, and it means that closure is preferred.
Open-ended and unresolved problems and issues are not welcome to the lady INTJ. Rare Combination of Intuition and Thinking Generally, most profiles combine feeling with intuition and thinking with the use of the senses taste, smell, touch, feeling, hearing.

They are constantly embarking on “fix-up” projects to improve the overall quality of their lives and relationships. They take their commitments seriously, but are open to redefining their vows, if they see something which may prove to be an improvement over the existing understanding. INTJs are not likely to be “touchy-feely” and overly affirming with their mates or children, and may at times be somewhat insensitive to their emotional needs.
However, INTJs are in general extremely capable and intelligent individuals who strive to always be their best, and be moving in a positive direction. If they apply these basic goals to their personal relationships, they are likely to enjoy happy and healthy interaction with their families and friends. They constantly scan their environment for new ideas and theories which they can turn into plans and structures.
Something calm, but exciting. Walking through a not familiar part of the area you live in together. Listen, adore, have fun. If you go to an amusement park, make time for eating cotton candy in a calm corner and talk about things close to your heart. Ask them what they liked the most, and make it your personal tradition. Hugging before parting the ways, if they are already close to you is also nice.
This strong nature of the INTJ works against them in relationships; their partners often want INTJs to show their emotional side and likewise deal with the partner’s emotions.
This is when the INFJ completely closes the door on someone, shutting them out of their lives for good. It seems like a fairly harsh action for such a warm and caring type. They care very strongly about others and feel emotions on a powerful level. When they care about someone they devote much of their lives to making them happy. INFJs rarely spend time tending to their own needs, often dedicating their lives to the needs of others.
Their biggest goal is to help people and they often hope to make a real difference in the world around them. They take their connections to others very seriously, making it very hard for the INFJ to leave even a bad relationship behind. There are a few basic reasons why the INFJ will shut someone out of their lives completely, but it all boils down to too much abusive behavior. This often happens because they care very much about people, often allowing them to push them too far.
Eventually the INFJ realizes they can no longer deal with this sort of emotional abuse from someone that they love, so they must remove them from their lives. The INFJ often feels that if they do not remove this person completely, they will be too upset to actually let go of them. They want to believe in people, but even the strongest individuals can only take so much pain. This often takes time after time of the INFJ being upset and emotional, trying to resolve the problem. Eventually, they see no other option but to let go of the person that is harming them.

And this pushes them to work harder so they can find and create the relationship of their dreams.
INFJs want depth in everything, including their relationships, and they expect their partner to be able to match the natural depth of the INFJ personality. They create this depth by spending a lot of time with their partner, getting to know the deepest parts of their heart and soul and showing their own in return. This is how INFJs show their interest and their love. And once they find the person they believe can match them, the INFJ will work to foster a connection and honesty in their relationship that few other personality types will be able to match.
Ultimately, INFJs expect their partners to crave the same deep relationship they want and be willing to wait and work for it. And is this such a big ask? This suits the INFJ fine.
